Wall Painting Reconstruction
This painting by Walter Klinkert, published in Karl Schefold's Vergessenes Pompeji in 1962, is based on a study of the original fresco from the north wall, combining additional elements taken from the south wall to create a complete reconstruction of the architectural layout common to both frescoes. This is a valuable resource as it shows in detail elements of the fresco that are now indiscernible owing to the deterioration of the original.
